Project Management Capstone

Prerequisite Required:

Before taking this course, registrants should complete all other Master's Certificate courses.

This course uses Microsoft Project.  Software and computers will be provided for each team. Familiarity with MS Project is not required to succeed in this course.

In this last course of the Project Management series, the intensive lab experience will allow you to work on a complex project from beginning to end in a team environment. You’ll use all of the skills first introduced in the previous series courses to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close a simulated project—from developing key deliverables to facilitating meetings to justifying decisions for the benefit of key stakeholders.

Under the guidance of a senior project manager, you will be given direct feedback and learn techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness on the job. You will also learn how to use project management software to help provide the needed artifacts that are commonly used in any large scale project.
